Terms of Service When You Sell iPhone

These terms apply to your use of sellusediphone.com and to any device you sell to SellUsediPhone ("we", "us"). By accepting an offer you agree to them. The service is available only to adults in the United States.

1. Quotes and offers

Your online offer is based on your answers and photos. If testing shows the device differs from what you described, or it fails an eligibility rule, the final amount may change. Each offer is valid for 14 days after you accept it.

2. Devices we buy and devices we cannot buy

We buy Apple devices in many conditions, including worn, cracked and damaged devices that can still be resold. We cannot buy a device that:

• has been reported lost or stolen, or is blocked for fraud;
• is iCloud Activation Locked or still has Find My turned on;
• is still enrolled in remote management (MDM) or subject to another ownership restriction;
• is counterfeit, not genuine, or missing major parts;
• cannot legally be sold, or is too damaged to resell.

Devices that will not power on are reviewed by email rather than through the instant quote.

Unpaid carrier balances

An iPhone with an unpaid device balance, or one blocked only for non-payment, may be bought from the account holder at a reduced price shown before you accept. You confirm you are that account holder. Paying off the balance first earns the standard price.

3. Your promises

You confirm that you are at least 18, that you own the device or are authorized to sell it, that it has not been reported lost or stolen, and that your answers are accurate.

4. Shipping

Accepted offers include a free prepaid, tracked shipping label by email. Pack the device securely; damage caused by poor packing may lower the final amount.

5. Testing and revised offers

We test devices within 1 to 2 business days of arrival. If a device differs from your description, we send a revised offer with the reasons, which you may accept or decline. Decline a revised offer and we ship your device back at no cost.

6. Ineligible devices

If a device turns out to be ineligible, we contact you. A device that appears to be lost or stolen may be held and reported as the law requires.

7. Payment

We pay within 1 to 2 business days of your iPhone passing testing using the method you chose: PayPal, Zelle or Bank transfer (ACH). You are responsible for giving correct payment details.

8. Your data

You are responsible for backing up and removing your data before shipping. We erase every device we receive but are not liable for data left on it.

9. Ownership and cancellation

Ownership passes to us when we pay you. Until then you may cancel by contacting us, and we will return the device.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim about a sale is limited to the final amount offered for that device.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Each sale is governed by the version in effect on the day you accepted its offer.
